DVJ is an artist who creates visual accompaniment to DJ sets. The resulting real-time video ambience is fully synchronized with music. Thus, we have an interactive and integral audiovisual installation – the sight much more spectacular and dynamic than any traditional “video on screen”. As for the materials, any video content and animation will do, but classy is to use original “hand-made” footages. Sound and video come from DVD, mixed on special Pioneer device. By the way, the first ever DVJ console came to Moscow 6 years ago – specially to YeTiVisound people. Today we use the Pioneer device derived by prize-winning Sergey Lobodin aka VJ Serdgio who became The Best World’s VJ in the first annual pro contest called VJ Challenge at Winter Music Conference, Miami, US.
